FORMER CAMPERS HAVE PRAISED ARIZONA YOUTH:
2019 CAMPERS COMMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
That was so interesting to spend time with my host family. They were like a real family to me. We visited lots of places I wanted to see in Arizona.
This program is amazing! You will find lots of new friends from all over the world and Arizona is unbelievable.
Bring a pillow for the van trips or you won’t sleep. Make sure to have a good pair of sunglasses and good shoes to walk in.
My host family had such hospitality and went out of their way for me to enjoy this trip. They always asked me before doing something.
The trip helped me to find new friends and experience life in another country. Helped me to grow in dealing with new tasks that I faced (e.g., Airports). I recommend the trip for everyone who is open for experiencing new things.
What an experience, leaving your own family to enter another one.
“Hey you, yes you! Would you like to pretend to be an American? Would you like to really see how Americans really are and how you are outside your comfort zone? ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH?”
My host family was very open, funny, listened to us very much, understood youth and did something everyday.
My host family were very nice people and even asked what I would like to do.
I can only say good things about my host family. There is not enough space to write them all. I hope she hosts again and new camper appreciates her as much as I have done.
Taking part in this camp is one of the most amazing things I have ever done. I met so many amazing people and very sad to leave it all behind. I have the best memories.
My host family was really understanding. If I would do something or needed something they always helped me. We did a lot of activities I really enjoyed.
I absolutely recommend this camp, the programs are amazing, you can meet really great people and many Lions. You get to know the real American lifestyle.
My host family welcomed me as a granddaughter and we talked for hours. Learned to be more dynamic and do so many activities amazing to think how youth cultural backgrounds can be fit together in all situations and create bonds of friendship so deep in so little time. I think this is just the miracle of the Lions Youth Exchange!
Come here! You will find a camp where you will discover many things, meet amazing people and have really good time!

Don't worry about (physical) problems, they take great care of it.
No words can describe the joy experienced during this camp from the complete feeling of freedom in Grand Canyon. To the nostalgic feelings in Tombstone.
This will be the time of your life. Most open minded people, all places, experiences more than a teen from Arizona ever will and make friendships for life.
At this camp you'll find amazing places like in movies, you'll meet new friends and experience a lot of different things.
This experience is amazing. You get friends for life, and connect with a family.
Don't hesitate sending in an application, cause you will not regret it.
Arizona is the best way to get to know the real desert life, the native Americans' life and of course the heat.
The trip has given me new skills and memories that'll last until the end of time. It was an awesome experience.
You get to see the whole State due to the van tour and you get to know the culture through the different host family stays.
This camp takes you to many places. It is a great experience and you will make a lot of close friends.
